I had this whole thing typed out about how pointless it is to try to protect your images on the Web, but let's just get past any pretense; here's me hotlinking over 100 tiny images:
NEVER DO THIS.
I'll take this down in a week or as soon as the guy notices.
Edit: Please be warned in case the guy decides to replace all his slices with an image of some incredibly fat man, or something horrible. It's what I'd do.
