Although this started out with me vectorizing some old line art, the lines are hardly visible in the final version. That's for the best, though, since I prefer hand-drawn lines better for this painted style. This is probably the first time I'm satisfied with the way the hair turned out, and it's still only marginally so. Still trying to find a good balance between a realistic and stylized look. (That's more or less true with the rest of the coloring, as well.)
About the character: C.C. started out as an admitted Jill Valentine knock-off, so I'm glad she's sort of progressed away from that over the years. I'm kind of sad that she lost the beret, but nothing screams "Jill" like that blue beret, so it pretty much had to go. Hmm, I wonder if a black beret would work out...
