Tonight I was going to put up some new photos for the first time since December or so, but then I started looking through UCSB's Website to find out when my finals are, and it turns out I have three in one day, from 8 to 7. I think I will need to look into having that remedied. I was sort of wondering what form der Zeitplangeist would take this quarter, and I think this is the answer.

A not-so-brief list of its previous incarnations:

• Fall 2001: dropped "library skills" class like a hilarious Michael Jackson baby joke, then discovered it was too late to add psychology 1 to fill the gap


• Winter 2002: attractive prospect of a free Friday actually caused first four days of the week to be seven-hour blocks of death


• Spring 2002: dropped art 22 (I was smarter then), but since the first lecture was on a Thursday it was too late to add soc. 152A


• Fall 2002: art 19 digital section (unlabeled in schedule) conflicted with Italian, added second elective (German) a week late instead because film 46 also conflicted


• Winter 2002: new Italian class reminded me of middle school Spanish. tried to crash two-hour Italian section, but due to add code lottery and awkward two-day-a-week schedule, opted for German 2 instead
