I'm Captain Basch!

The shirts are finally a reality. There are some extras available, but if you didn't reserve one you'll probably have to settle for a large. (There is a very limited number of mediums available.) If you're interested in another size, just email me (metaly at metaly.org) and I'll see about putting together a second order.

Here's an image of the full shirt on a fabulous virtual model.

All sizes are $20, shipping included. There's one large where the print is very slightly offset. It's unnoticeable unless you're really inspecting it, but nevertheless it'll only be $15.

The other day, Koei announced Opoona, and this is basically how I saw the press release:

Images from the game indicate it will have a very Japanese, cartoonish visual style, with gameplay centering on "Active Bonbon Battles" that will have the hero pelt opponents with "Energy Bonbons."

I'm Captain Basch fon Ronsenburg of Dalmasca!

When Final Fantasy XII was a little more recently-released, I put together this shirt design based on a particularly absurd segment in Bhujerba. Well, now that everyone's long since finished the game, I'm getting around to sending it out to be printed. It'll be screenprinted on Hanes Beefy-Ts, most likely on the navy color above, hopefully no more than $20 each. I'll probably start with a limited run, but a larger one could follow if there's interest. Give me an email if this is your kind of thing.

Daylight savings is WAY early this year

I was just mildly freaking out because I thought it was daylight savings this weekend when it's actually next week. I was like, oh god, all the clocks moved forward yesterday and I didn't even notice because my computers always switch automatically. Well, at least that means I wasn't up quite as late as I thought last night.

Then I looked at my old-fashioned watch and noticed that it was showing the same time as everything else, and panic mode started to subside.

The only annoying thing is it means I really was up playing Lumines until 5 yesterday. :-(
