Invincible death ball

:]

I was just reading my facts.txt the other day and came across something alarming: There are red supergiants out there that are larger than Jupiter's orbit around the sun. Keep in mind that Jupiter is already quite large!! (For that matter, so is the sun.)

Your pointing out that Jupiter and the Sun are large is sort of like saying, "Blue Whales are huge! I read that they are longer than ten schoolbuses - and the seats on schoolbuses are large enough to be comfortable!"

Whales are also enormous! I think red supergiants are still even bigger, though.

Here's a better way to say what I mean: It's not helpful to point out that Jupiter is large, because the size of Jupiter has nothing to do with the size of it's orbit. My shrink says nitpicking like this is helpful.
