My ex

I've been trying to unload my old PS2 for a few weeks and have been trying Craigslist to avoid the hassles of eBay auctions and shipping. It's led to some pretty bizarre emails, including a few 419 scams. Here's a selection from my favorite, emphasis added:

How are you doing? I will like to let you know that I have gone through your posting and very satisfied with it, I am buying it for my ex-girl daughter who lost both her father and mother during a motor accident when going to work couple of weeks ago and want to buy this for her as a gift which she also need for her final year project.

So remember that they're talking about a PlayStation 2 here. Also, just in case you missed this part:

I am buying it for my ex-girl daughter who lost both her father and mother during a motor accident

Nevermind the fact that it sounds like this email was written posthumously. Someone please explain to me what exactly an ex-girl daughter is.

Yeah, I definitely believe you. I've gotten some weird emails myself when selling stuff. They remind me of a few weird people who sent me a message on Facebook and stuff.

I understand about not wanting to deal with ebay, because when I unloaded a bunch of games, I actually let someone have stuff for less since I didn't have to deal with ebay.
