So for the longest time I always pictured John McCrea from Cake as the slickest guy in the world. He'd always be wearing sunglasses, of course, and some kind of hat. Maybe a long jacket of some sort. He's too cool to actually sing the notes more than half the time. Then I looked up a picture of him and it turns out he's this goofy-looking guy with a goatee.

No offense intended, of course.
